F2P Guide

Survive NTE as F2P

On a limited character board, NTE has no 50/50 loss — 90-pull hard pity is guaranteed to be the rate-up character. This guide shows you how to protect that budget after launch and avoid spending Annulith before checking current codes, the live board, and your own account needs.

The Headline

90-pull hard pity and no limited-character 50/50.

The July PC Gamer banner guide and GameWith gacha guide both describe the same limited-character pattern: no 50/50, a 90-pull featured-character ceiling, and carryover to the next limited-character board. Read the live in-game rules for Arc, standard, and cosmetic pulls.

  • 160 Annulith / pull
  • 70 soft pity
  • 90 hard pity

Post-launch F2P resources

July 16 note: launch-week rewards and the May S-Class selector are historical. New and returning F2P players should start with the active code table, then compare current banner timing before turning one-time account rewards into pulls.

Source Reward Note
Active redeem codes (5) Annulith, Fons, Beetle Coins, guide items Try short-window and Annulith codes before evergreen economy codes
Current events Version-specific rewards Use the in-game event board and current official notes; do not budget an unannounced amount
Account progression One-time rewards Confirm the reward shown in your own quest and activity screens
Daily and weekly activity Repeatable currency and materials Treat as a gradual saving source, not a fixed monthly forecast

If you need Fons for upgrades or shop purchases, save the activity for this window.

Source: official Version 1.2 patch notes, published July 6 and checked July 15, 2026. Times are UTC+8 unless marked “server time”; the in-game event panel is the final authority if a reset or regional rollout differs. These windows describe login, activity efficiency, or event rewards, not a guaranteed Annulith total.

Make account-specific choices

The old launch selector and “free character” recommendation are historical pages, not live offers. If your account has an item that lets you choose a character, make the choice from the in-game eligible roster and the role your actual teams lack. Do not rely on a May event deadline or an unverified universal ranking.

Where to spend July pulls

  1. 1. Check the current limited banner

Hotori and Lacrimosa's first windows have ended. On July 15, planning should start from the live banner board and the banner schedule, not old launch advice.

  2. 2. Save for a proven roster gap

Pull for a missing carry, sustain, break, or buffer slot. If the featured character does not solve a real team problem, preserving pity is usually stronger than chasing novelty.

  3. 3. Don't pull on standard banners early

Do not spend just because an old guide assigns a character to a standard pool. Compare the rules and available roster shown in your client with the current limited board, then decide whether a guaranteed time-limited character better addresses your account need.
