The reset requires a Critical Dodge
Mint’s important A1 effect resets Redirect Skill after a Critical Riposte hits. A random critical damage number does not trigger it. Dodge the incoming attack at the appropriate moment, then use the riposte and confirm the hit before expecting another Redirect.
The held basic attack is a long spin. Save it for a broken or stunned target rather than committing while an enemy is about to retaliate. Her resistance to interruption is helpful but does not make every spin safe.
Choose an affordable Arc first
Fluff of Fleetness suits sustained on-field Mint, but it is a paid Battle Pass choice. Clear Skies supplies Anima damage for her main abilities. Shiny Days is a Break-window alternative. Mind Royale is useful when it actually produces an extra Ultimate during the fight; more energy that never changes the cast count may accomplish less than a damage option.
Fireflies and the Forest is the Anima cartridge foundation. Favor Anima damage and balanced critical stats rather than upgrading only the largest ATK number.
Team and progression
Mint is an early story character. Cosmos supports Blossom, while Incantation enables Hexed. Her Blossom enhancement increases the area of Vita Bud hits, which helps groups but provides no area advantage against a lone boss. Practice the dodge-riposte reset with your current equipment before deciding to replace her solely because another character has a higher rarity.
