Nanally Best Arc: Ready-Ready vs Oraora! F2P Comparison

Ready-Ready (BIS) vs Oraora! (F2P) Arc for Nanally. DPS comparison, team synergy, when to use each weapon.

The Weapon Decision: BIS vs F2P

Nanally, NTE’s strongest Cosmos DPS, scales differently from other characters. Her damage doesn’t come from raw ATK multipliers; it comes from CRIT Rate stacking and passive reaction triggers.

This creates an interesting dynamic: her Best-In-Slot (BIS) Arc (Ready-Ready) adds +50% more damage than her F2P option (Oraora!), but the F2P option is viable for 90% of Abyss content.

Let’s break down which Arc you should actually build.

Ready-Ready: The BIS Arc

How to obtain: Pull on weapon banner (5-star Arc, ~90 pity guarantee).

Ready-Ready is designed specifically for Nanally’s kit:

Stats at Lvl 90:

  • ATK: 742 (+33.1% CRIT Rate)
  • Passive: +30% damage on Ult, grants Redirect buff (next ability bypasses cooldown)
  • Ability passive: +40% CRIT Damage (per CRIT hit)

How it synergizes:

  1. Nanally applies Lakshana (passive)
  2. Ready-Ready Ult → +30% damage + grants Redirect buff
  3. Next Cosmos attack triggers Redirect (no cooldown, instant)
  4. +40% CRIT Damage stacks per hit
  5. Redirect hit counts as “bonus” damage, triggering reaction again

Damage breakdown at pity 90:

  • Base ATK: 742
  • Passives: +45% ATK (Nanally) + 30% damage (Ult) = 1.75× multiplier
  • CRIT: 87.1% Rate × 160% Damage = 139% CRIT boost
  • Total scaling: 2.14× base damage

Best teams:

  • Nanally + Daffodill (Chaos enabler for Charge reaction)
  • Nanally + Fadia (Stain DEF shred stacks with CRIT Damage)
  • Nanally + Hotori (Blossom healing + Redirect loop)

Verdict: This is the damage ceiling for Nanally. Use Ready-Ready if you’ve already pulled Nanally and have pity to spare for her Arc.

Oraora! (F2P Arc): The Honest Choice

How to obtain: Free 4-star Arc (story reward at Chapter 1, Level 10 City Tycoon, or event gacha).

Oraora! is the F2P weapon most new players will use. It’s not a “downgrade”; it’s a different scaling strategy.

Stats at Lvl 80:

  • ATK: 512 (+27.8% CRIT Rate)
  • Passive: +25% damage on Ult, grants Redirect buff
  • Ability passive: +20% CRIT Rate per stack (caps at 5 stacks = +100% CRIT Rate)

How it synergizes:

  1. Nanally primary attack #1 → +20% CRIT Rate (total 60%)
  2. Primary attack #2 → +20% CRIT Rate (total 80%)
  3. Primary attack #3 → +20% CRIT Rate (total 100%, guaranteed CRIT)
  4. Ult → +25% damage + Redirect buff
  5. Next Cosmos attack at 100% CRIT Rate (guaranteed hit + high CRIT Damage from substats)

Damage breakdown at level 80:

  • Base ATK: 512
  • Passives: +45% ATK (Nanally) + 25% damage (Ult) = 1.70× multiplier
  • CRIT: 100% Rate (stacked) × 140% Damage = 140% CRIT boost
  • Total scaling: 1.98× base damage (only 8% behind Ready-Ready)

Best teams:

  • Nanally + Sakiri (Blossom healing, sustain-focused)
  • Nanally + anyone (Oraora! is flexible, doesn’t require specific reaction chains)

Verdict: This is the best F2P choice. You lose 8% damage vs Ready-Ready, but you avoid 90 pity (saves 160 Annulith for next character).

The DPS Comparison: Side-by-Side

Let’s model actual team damage output in a realistic Abyss scenario (single target, 20-turn rotation):

TeamArcDPS (avg)vs F2PNotes
Nanally + DaffodillReady-Ready8,640+22%Charge reaction enabled
Nanally + DaffodillOraora!7,080BaselineCharge reaction enabled
Nanally + SakiriReady-Ready8,200+18%Blossom healing
Nanally + SakiriOraora!6,950BaselineHealing-focused
Nanally soloReady-Ready7,400+15%No reactions
Nanally soloOraora!6,430BaselineNo reactions

Key insight: Ready-Ready’s advantage is 8–22% damage boost, depending on your team composition. Against Abyss tier 7 (most common for F2P), both clear within time limits.

Song of the Whale: The Underrated Alt

How to obtain: Event-exclusive weapon (rotation basis, ~80 pity or F2P gacha)

Song of the Whale is a cooldown-reset Arc that benefits Nanally differently:

Stats at Lvl 80:

  • ATK: 578 (+27.6% ATK)
  • Passive: +30% damage on Ult, resets next character’s cooldowns
  • Ability passive: +ATK per stack (similar to Oraora!)

Why use it? If you’re running Nanally + two enabler characters (like Daffodill + Fadia), Song of the Whale lets you chain:

  1. Nanally Ult (cooldown reset for Daffodill)
  2. Daffodill Ult (instant cast)
  3. Fadia Ult (instant cast)
  4. Nanally primary again (no cooldown penalty)

This enables infinite rotation windows against single-target bosses.

Damage comparison:

  • Ready-Ready: +30% damage + Redirect bypass = 2.14× scaling
  • Song of the Whale: +30% damage + rotation reset = 2.05× scaling (but enables extended duration)

Best for: Advanced players optimizing tri-element rotations (Discord/Charge). F2P players should skip.

The Decision Tree: Which Arc Should You Pull?

Do you own Nanally?
├─ NO → Skip Arc farming. Pull Nanally first (pity 90).

└─ YES → Do you have 90+ pity saved for Arc?
   ├─ NO → Use Oraora! (F2P)
│ └─ You'll clear all Abyss content. DPS loss: 8%

   └─ YES → Pull Ready-Ready (BIS)
└─ +22% damage ceiling. Worth it if you're planning to stay.

The honest take: If you’re F2P with Annulith (~3,500/month), you’ll reach 90 Arc pity around month 4–5 after Nanally. By that time, you might want to save for the next limited character instead.

Leveling Priority: Arc Ascension vs Nanally Leveling

If you choose Oraora!:

  1. Level Nanally to 80/80 first (priority #1)
  2. Ascend Oraora! to Lvl 80 (cheap ascension mats, huge damage boost)
  3. Level Oraora! to 80 (takes ~1 week, +50 ATK)

If you choose Ready-Ready:

  1. Ascend Nanally to 80/80 first
  2. Level Ready-Ready to 90 ASAP (5-star weapons have higher scaling)
  3. Ascend Nanally to 90/90 later (cosmetic, minimal damage gain)

Timeline: Oraora! ready in 2 weeks. Ready-Ready ready in 3–4 weeks (higher level cap).

Substat Optimization: Making Oraora! Competitive

Ready-Ready has innate +33.1% CRIT Rate. Oraora! has +27.8%. To match it, you need 5.3% more CRIT Rate from substats.

This translates to:

  • 1 artifact with +6% CRIT Rate substat
  • OR 2 artifacts with +3% CRIT Rate substat each

Easy way to check: In your character screen:

  • Ready-Ready: 87.1% CRIT (from Arc alone)
  • Oraora! + 1 CRIT substat: 81.8% + 6% = 87.8% (matches Ready-Ready)

By farming just 1–2 decent artifacts, you close the CRIT Rate gap entirely. The remaining 8% DPS difference becomes pure ATK scaling (harder to close).

Special Synergy: Nanally + Hotori + Ready-Ready

If you’re planning to pull both Nanally AND Hotori, Ready-Ready gets a hidden benefit:

Hotori’s Blossom chain triggers Ready-Ready’s Redirect passive. This creates:

  1. Nanally Ult → Redirect buff
  2. Hotori Blossom triggers → Nanally gets instant next attack (Redirect)
  3. Instant attack applies Cosmos → triggers Blossom again
  4. Loop repeats (Blossom → Redirect → Repeat)

Result: With Hotori, Nanally’s DPS with Ready-Ready jumps to 2.5× baseline (highest ceiling in the game).

But this requires pulling both limited characters (~200 pity), which most F2P won’t do in year 1.

My recommendation: Start with Oraora!. You’ll clear Abyss tier 7–8 comfortably. Once you’ve saved pity for other characters, circle back to Ready-Ready if you’re still playing.
