Worth pulling?

Undecided until launch: the Version 1.4 boards share one S-Class pity counter, so pulls keep their value across Blackbird, the Lacrimosa rerun, and Akane Rin. Wait for kit verification before committing currency.

Blackbird is one of the two new characters of Version 1.4 “For Whom the Verses Mourn”, which launches September 30, 2026. She headlines her own limited board, Blackbird: Foretold Finale, and gets new character interactions alongside the main episode “The Witch”. Because she is not playable yet, this page only states what the official announcement confirms — every kit number stays deliberately blank until we can verify it in game.

Confirmed facts (official Version 1.4 announcement)

  • Version 1.4 launches September 30, 2026 on PS5, PC (client, Steam, Epic Games Store), iOS and Android.
  • Blackbird’s limited board is “Blackbird: Foretold Finale”.
  • The version’s three limited boards — Blackbird, the Lacrimosa rerun (“Fading Reverie”), and Akane Rin (“Dazzling Star”) — share the same S-Class character pity counter, Points Gift progress, and Board Modification progress.
  • Arc Research Programs for the version run in two windows: Roostfeather Special and Nocturne Special until October 21, then Celestial Special from October 21 to November 11. The announcement does not assign these signature Arcs to specific characters.
  • Blackbird outfits confirmed in the announcement: Wandering Stars (Mall), Rouge et Noir (Skin Perks rolls), and Unfazed Denim (Bond Level 10).

What is intentionally not stated yet

Element, arc type, role, kit mechanics, awakening effects, module recommendations and stat priorities are not published on this page because the character cannot be tested yet. Preview coverage circulating in the community includes kit claims of varying reliability; we treat all of them as unconfirmed. When Version 1.4 goes live, this page gets the same treatment as our released-character guides: verified in game, with the verification date stamped at the top.

Pull planning under the shared pity counter

NTE limited boards have no 50/50: pull 90 is a hard guarantee for the board’s featured character, with a published soft-pity range from pulls 70–89. What makes Version 1.4 different is that the announcement confirms the three boards share one S-Class pity counter and Points Gift progress. Practically:

  1. Pity built on the Blackbird board carries to Akane Rin’s board — you cannot “waste” pity by switching targets mid-version.
  2. Decide early whether Blackbird or Akane Rin is the priority; both are version-limited, and after the version ends neither returns on a predictable schedule.
  3. If you want both, the deterministic play is to reach pity once and let the shared counter decide, rather than spreading pulls thin across both boards with zero guarantee.

Pre-launch checklist

  • Stockpile pull currency (Fons) through the Pukaland Travelogue event running September 30 to November 11, and the Stamina Recharge window October 5–19.
  • Redeem the Version 1.4 preview codes before they expire — see the active codes list.
  • Clear current content to raise City Tycoon milestones: Level 15 and Level 40 award an S-Class Standard Character Selection Box, useful context for account planning before a limited pull.

FAQ

When does the Blackbird banner start? September 30, 2026, together with the Version 1.4 maintenance. The announcement pairs the launch with the Roostfeather and Nocturne Arc Research Programs running until October 21.

When does the Blackbird banner end? The announcement’s Arc Research window and event calendar point to a phase split on October 21 (Celestial Special and later events begin), with the version running to November 11. Treat the October 21 boundary as expected until the in-game board shows the exact end date.

Is there a 50/50 on Blackbird’s board? No. NTE limited boards guarantee the featured S-Class at the 90-pull hard pity, with a soft-pity range from pulls 70–89. Version 1.4 additionally shares one pity counter across its three limited boards.

Where are Blackbird’s awakenings and best Arc? Marked TBD on purpose. This page fills them within 24 hours of launch after in-game verification, not from pre-release claims.
